First Announcement on the Fall LAN
Hope you're enjoying summer! I feel like its been ages! Since our last LAN over the winter, there have been quite a few life changes for many folks – graduations, births, moves – BUT, despite the changes, Legendary LAN lives on – old-school LAN'n and good times await!
We've got an early announcement for you on the second (Fall) LAN in 2011. We realized its been quite a while since you've heard from us, since we did our first LAN so early this year (due to all the life events that happened in the spring). BUT, planning is well under way for our next event, and we wanted to get the word out on the next LAN even earlier this time.
At this point, LegendaryLAN Fall 2011 is scheduled for September 30-October 1, 2011 (FRI-SAT). Mark your calendars and let me know if that date doesn't work for you! If masses of you are a 'no-go' after a couple weeks, we'll look at rescheduling, otherwise, the date will hold. We've got some big things planned to make this our biggest and most legendary LAN yet, such as:
-a new venue for the LAN, with additional space for potentially over 30 attendees
-additional sponsors, which means more free stuff, random prize drawings, and better tournament loot!
-dedicated servers for the most frequently played games at the LAN
-some new and re-tooled tourneys, along with the classics we've grown to love
-the same laid-back atmosphere, welcoming environment, friendly competition, traditions and memories that makes these things a great time
