by somnusOverwatch, one of the more popular tournaments from last year, will be revisited for Legendary LAN 2018. There are a few new heroes that have been added (Hero List), but the format will be very similar to last year. Brackets will be setup for double elimination, and team size will be determined based on the number of participants the day of the tournament (most likely 5v5). The format is as follows:
- Initial rounds will be Lockout Elimination game mode. First to 3 victories. Lockout Elimination is essentially team deathmatch, but any hero used in a round where you win will not be available for the rest of the match.
- Maps:
- Round 1: Ecopoint: Antarctica
- Round 2: Castillo
- Round 3: Ilios: Well
- Round 4: Ligiang Garden
- Round 5: Nepal: Sanctum
- Maps:
- Finals for first, second, and third will be Control game mode.  First to 3 victories. Control is very similar to King of the Hill. Maps will be randomly selected from the 6 available maps. In the event that the two teams in the finals have already faced off against each-other, and the team that lost the initial round wins the match, a single round of Lockout Elimination on Oasis City Center will be used as a tie breaker.
