2018 Heroes of the Storm Tournament Details

Tournament Details:

Teams of 5
Double Elimination Bracket
Teams Organized by Skill – Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 Players, then randomly assigned.

Round Progression:

Round 1 & 4 Matches: Cursed Hallow
Objective: Every so many minutes you will be notified of a point on the map where a cursed shrine will appear. This shrine must be channeled by a hero and said hero must not be interrupted. After 3 successful channeled shrines the opposing team is cursed. This curse shuts down all enemy structure defenses and sets the enemies minions to 1 health.

Round 2 & 5 Matches: Tomb of the Spider Queen
Objective: Each team must kill enemy spider minions in an effort to collect gems which then can be turned in. A successful turn-in of a specific amount of gems will allow your team to summon elite spider minions in every lane to aid in a global push. The map is very small so get ready for team fights.

Round 3 & 6 Matches: Volskya Foundry
Objective: Each team must hold a designated control point until your progress meter is 100%. Once you reach full meter a Volskya Protector is summoned. This summon is a 2 player manned Mech that is highly destructive.
